ok, it's a meme, but (with the proviso of one typo I noticed) the questions are lovely, and I can't much complain about the result either :)

I confess to being overly persnickety about this use of "single malt whiskey" - as I have often availed myself of a very excellent Irish single malt, from Oddbins. Cheap and very good, actually - and with a bona fide "e"

There are some nice Irish malts, but aside from the Bushmills 10 year old they are rarely to be seen on this side of the Irish Sea.

That "e", though, is one I'm normally exceeding pedantic about too: I can't believe the error passed me by...
