Mentioning Summer Camp a couple of posts ago reminded me that I never posted anything about this year‘s. And very fine it was too (even if the weather was only variably so); from much whisky and talking of bollocks around the kitchen table on Friday night, through the main Saturday party day to Engineering[hem.] Sunday and Monday. Too many folks to list, most of whom we only see once a year and some for the first (but not last) time; you know who you are, and well met to all.

That weekend is ramtops’ and my major yearly wind down; I could feel the stress falling away even as we drove across Wales to get there. For such a diverse collection of nutters, it really is a precious island of sanity in an increasingly Dagenham world.
