new toys

The Canon Pro90 arrived this morning; an old model, to be sure, but it seems to do just about everything I would want from a digicam and came at a rather attractive discount.

At first-and-very-brief acquaintance, my only quibble is the one I expected - the LCD viewfinder. TTL is nice, but the resolution doesn't hack it - indeed, it actually looks worse than that of the fold-out display (which is actually rather nice).

First pic as an indication of quality, taken straight off on full auto, is back of this thumbnail, but be warned that it's 1856x1392 and 1.4MB :)
