I'm still feeling numb after we lost Zool on Wednesday to (apparently) a car on Weston Road - ghods only know what she was doing all the way up there, way outside what we'd thought of as her territory (though as I mention below, she did show signs of heading that way before).

[livejournal.com profile] ramtops has written most of what I would say here, here are a few more words from me.

She was the only moitht cat I've ever met; there was something of the bordello in her every movement. She used to descend from whatever heights she had materialised at with a Monica Seles oof and thud - she was the heaviest cat for her weight I've known.

I won't ever forget the way she would bound and sproing into the house, or follow /\/\ac or I along the roads away from our house until she'd get to the edge of her territory (or, once when I was heading towards the barber on Weston Road, well before when I bottled out and led her back home because I didn't want her to follow me all the way to the main drag).

Her obsessions (apart from her, errm, personal services that /\/\ac mentions in her obituary) were boxes and rubber bands - where she found these we knew not, but she frequently did and killed them with precise efficiency.

She was vile and horrid and evil and downright nasty to the other cats and totally wonderful and I'm not sure how long it will be before I stop
looking out for her or wondering on a night if she'll curl up on my pillow and wash my hair.

Goodbye Zool, wherever you are now...

I know how horrible it is when you lose a cat/some cats so my thoughts are with you both.
