14th March 2000 redux

Back home again after my last day contracting at Motorola. Again.
Last time I left it was due to one
pdcawley tempting me to Virgin Mobile (or v.omit as it became affectionately known); this time I leave due to a clash of greed between two sets of pimps.
Whatever. We have more than enough work at Horus to keep me busy for a bit, and if things continue to work the way they have been and the way we hope, I may never need to encube myself again.
Which would be nice.
Having said that, I would still be unsurprised if I found myself back at SDLC in Motorola yet again one day... At least I leave the code in good hands this time.

Date: 2003-11-02 01:21 am (UTC)I was there from March 2000 for 9 months which, whilst good enough for a cow or a Countess, wasn't quite sufficient for me to gestate a total transformation of their back end CRM (hah!) systems.
Most of my time was taken up arguing with the lovies in marketing about page design "ideas" that couldn't even be implemented for one browser, let alone across platforms. And as for the inchbrow-zoids; have you ever been to Trowbridge?
