When a Govenment starts talking about getting in outside agencies to develop the ID card idea "so it won't be a cock up" one can almost guarantee the resulting fiasco will be hysterical.
I saw Blunkett on the TV this morning. He seems to really want the UK as a NuLab autocracy.
