Gosh. A mole.

They've not done that before...

Methinks someone's watching BB5 and doesn't want to admit it.

perhaps they do. But in our case, it is true.

and please don't argue with me - I get very tired of telling people that I've never seen it, and then have to remonstrate with them for accusing me of lying.

I truly cannot understand why anyone would want to watch such a thing. And from what I've read about this year's, it looks worse than ever. I find the whole thing incomprehensible.

I'm so tempted to do that: a bit like prodding a Tiger with a pointy stick ~:0)

Hope you can run fast then. And hide really, really well.

You know. Small, brown velvet coat, little scrabbling claws, dead. That sort of thing.

And on the landing this morning.

What, built a small, mole-sized kebab shop and offy on the lawn overnight?

The small, mole-sized offy we already have (the Little Tipple, and very fine it is too). A small-but-perfectly-formed kebab shop nearer than the bottom of Jacob's Well Road would be a Good Thing though. I'll suggest it to the cats.

Mole kebabs... Mmmmm....

there's no need for that sort of language at all :)

[there's also a dead bird at the end of the garden by the garage]

Poor birdie!
*sniff*

One of my late cats was a marvellous mouser. The other was too, but sadly, also did birds. Even after she was collared and belled. (!)
