[livejournal.com profile] ramtops has already written of our experiences last weeken at t'village pump (here and here); it was a very fine thing indeed.

I indulged myself on Friday afternoon with a Thai massage from Jan at energisemassage.com (/me sighs parenthetically at their website). I'd been feeling pretty crap for a week; a nasty patch of soreness between my shoulder blades that feels like some sort of subcutaneous inflamation and legs that occasionally twitch and/or go wobbly. along with General Grottiness and Malaise. Nothing life-threatening, but not huge fun.

Jan did an excellent job given the constraints of a half-hour session, concentrating mostly on my feet and legs; lumpy Stuff was pouring off me through her, I was a Very Clagged Person Indeed. Still am, sadly - one session helped a lot, but given my levels of accumulated stress I reckon I'm finally going to try and find someone in or around Brissle for some regular healing/massage work.

As [livejournal.com profile] ramtops said, Eliza Carthy on Sunday evening was a highlight. There was a distraction though: we were right up front in a little group of people standing (as a side effect of a smaller group of people who had bunged themselves in front of us in an opaque manner against the stage railings). Standing to our right was a tallish red-headed young woman who, even at a glace, bore a striking resemblance to [livejournal.com profile] mmcpoland, even down to facial expressions. This was enough to take note of, but she then responded to her friend (another woman just in front of me) with The Look. If you know Moz, you'll know the one...

It's not that I find Moz scary (for she is indeed a lovely person), it's the thought of this Universe holding TWO of her that gives me pause. I would have stopped this person and asked her if she had any McPoland connections, but sadly she and her friend buggered off as soon as Eliza finished. Spooky.
