OK, so I'm working on changes to image upload code and I need a test image to work on... Digital photos directory; "Ireland 2004" - that'll do. I never got round to uploading those, and they should be safe; nothing worse than perilously beautiful views.
I pick a random image from the directory, the updated code works as it should, but I get...

And no, she didn't come to Ireland with us; how that image ended up in that directory I truly know not.

Date: 2004-11-20 09:51 pm (UTC)But nothing's *inherently* cute. I can sort of see kittens 'cos baby anythings are generally cute. Except the sort of naked pink wrinkly things with bulging eyes. And maggots and things. OK, *most* baby things. I'm not big on kittens myself (tho' I can't resist puppies and tiny rodents, especially after the fur comes in) but I can see that.
But I don't get the thing of people gushing over random cat pix.
I know people who can't walk down a street and see a cat without going "oooh" and beckoning to it. I mean, I love dogs more than cats, but I don't do that with every dog I see...
Just seems odd, is all. Disproportionate.
I've been in the pub all day. Drinking mineral water. But the last thing I had was two pints of Diet Coke. I don't /do/ caffeine any more. It's nearly 6 sodding AM and I'm vibratingly wide awake. But not terribly coherent.
/Bugger./
Did I mention I'm now ZZ9 president? Come join!
