perlmongerWe don't do a tree, for obvious reasons, but we do do one or two smallish sort of large branches on the walls of the living room. Two this year - a moon branch over the fire and a sun branch over the settee. I did those last night, along with the traditional evergreen (well, it would be, as it's plastic ;) hedge along the curtain rail decked with lights and the likewise traditional fairy toft on top. All this, miraculously free of feline attention. Unnaturally so.

ramtops was preparing Our Evening Meal (a fine combination of Kashmiri lamb, a black bean stew and basmati) and creating a Cake. A Cake that might even make valkyrie_k sit up and take notice.
The Midwich Kittens made up for yesterday's absence tonight though - they were as attentive and helpful as anyone could have wished while I was decoratingramtops's besom (on the stair wall) with lights. They really do have the most charming and delicate needle-sharp claws and teeth to go with their golden eyes...
